When little “Vultures” go birdwatching

As the end of our eco-educational campaign “Vultures of Armenia”, which was organized within the Vulture Awareness Month in Armenia by NABU-Armenia, we had visited lakes of Armash with more than 70 students from 5 participating schools to observe birds in their natural setting.

Students had a chance to not only observe birds of Armenia but also gain new and interesting knowledge about them.

In the end of the birdwatching the award ceremony of “How will I save my favorite vulture?” competition was held. All four winners got presents – binoculars, from the four vulture species of Armenia. Follow us on Facebook and do not miss a chance to see winners’ works, where they describe their ideas on vulture and nature conservation.
