The branch office of German Nature Protection Union (NABU) in the Republic of Armenia continues to study the biodiversity of “Dilijan” National Park, in connection with which recently there have been carried out:
- studies of species composition of nesting birds in the territory of the park and its neighboring territories,
- studies of fish species composition in the sections of Khachardzan and Getik rivers.
It should be reminded that these studies allow to identify the species composition of birds, mammals, fish and plants of the park, the distribution of endemic and red-book species, as well as the negative factors affecting them.
The works are carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment of RA and “Dilijan” National Park.
